This includes an essential level of cover for the treatment of cancer that increases for each of the first five years of their membership, if they don’t make a claim for cancer. In addition, within certain limits, there is outpatient cover for therapies, complementary medicine and cardiovascular conditions.

Equs Plus offers more protection. There are higher limits for outpatient benefits and more comprehensive cover for therapies and complementary medicine. Perhaps more importantly, Equs Plus provides inpatient cover for cardiovascular conditions. There is also a higher level of cover for the treatment of cancer that increases for each of the first ten years of membership, if the member doesn’t make a claim for cancer.

There are useful additional benefits such as cover for a private ambulance and home nursing. Cash benefits are also included for temporary disablement and critical illnesses.

In this way, Equs Plus provides a level of cover to protect the vast majority of people and their loved ones.

Equs Elite is the highest level of cover in our Equs Range and is a popular choice within a company scheme where a higher level of cover is needed for senior staff. It is only available for groups of 6 or more adults.

The level of cover for the treatment of cancer and the limits for outpatient benefits including therapies and complementary medicine are all a further step higher than Equs Plus. But Equs Elite also provides cover for routine dental services, optical services and for private GP services.

In addition, Equs Elite includes cover for private maternity services for the delivery of a baby within a private medical facility.
