Equs Elite Medical Insurance

Equs Elite is our highest level of cover for companies with 20 members or more, it has all the benefits of Equs Plus with the addition of cover for Cancer treatment, plus cover for routine dental services, optical services and cover for private GP services. Finally there is also cover for private maternity services.

Equs Elite from General & Medical is there to meet the costs of private healthcare when your doctor decides you need surgery. Benefit is available from the first time you are referred by your GP to see a consultant. We cover the costs of tests that are necessary in order to arrive at a diagnosis and any necessary in-patient or day-patient surgery. After your treatment, benefit is also available for further consultations with your consultant if needed, and any necessary Out-patient treatment. Out-patient treatments and consultations are subject to an overall annual limit of £1,500.

Some of the more common procedures that we see are for knee and shoulder conditions, gynaecological problems, heart conditions, hip replacements, varicose veins and hernia repairs.
