The GP advice line will give you advice on how to access local medical provider within the UK but will not be responsible for arranging an appointment with another doctor. Nor are GP advice line Doctors responsible for the actions of that doctor or other third party healthcare workers. If you have an emergency medical problem then you must access your local emergency medical services. Please note that medical treatment undertaken following advice from the GP advice line service will not necessarily be eligible for the benefit under your healthcare cover.
