Reimbursed Hospital Parking

Take a Generation Healthcare policy out with us for your child and we can reimburse your parking charges. Just like your children, it’s the little things that matter - so you don’t have to worry.

If your claim is approved for eligible treatment, your child may need to see a consultant or receive in-patient procedures. It may not be the first thing on your mind, but the cost of parking at certain facilities can soon add up.

General & Medical could not only cover the cost of your child's treatment - and any related consultations - but further, if they are undertaken at a participating hospital (details of which can be found on our Generation Hospital List), we can cover the cost of parking at a wide range of facilities.

The inclusion of this benefit - and many others - in the Generation Healthcare range ensures that you will be able to focus your attentions solely on your child getting well sooner.

Other things to bear in mind

The hospital providing treatment or consultation can be private or NHS, but it must have its own chargeable car parking facility. General and Medical will reimburse the cost of hospital parking for your vehicle up to the maximum of £15 per day. In addition, if your car is parked continuously for more than 24 hours, we will only reimburse the maximum of one day's charge for that stay.

If this benefit is included in your policy, it will be shown on your Schedule of Cover. We do not reimburse any excess or penalty charges, or costs of offsite hospital parking. Neither do we reimburse any costs for visitors parking.

In order to claim your hospital parking charges back, you must submit an original receipt from the facility to us within 30 days of the claim for your child's treatment. A maximum of 20 days per annum is claimable for reimbursement.
