As well as providing high-quality children's medical insurance, you can also add optional extras to enhance your child's healthcare plan, or reduce the cover to suit your needs and budget.
Increase Cover
- Pre-existing Conditions - cover up to two pre-existing conditions from our list of defined conditions for an additional premium
- Channel Island Cover - if you live in the Channel Islands you can choose to upgrade your policy, which has been designed to offer additional benefits and supplement the treatment available
Reduce Premiums
- Excess Level - you can cut the cost of your premium by adding an excess to your policy. You can choose an excess of £0, £100 or £250, per year or per claim
What are the age limits for Child Health Insurance?
Our Generation Child Health Insurance cover is available to individuals from the age of 90 days, up to their 18th birthday.
We can also cover up to 6 children on one easy to manage policy.
For all Private Healthcare policies for children only, we will require a parent/guardian aged over 18 to be added on to the policy on behalf of the child as a third party administrator.
Each policy can add up to three authorised parties.
