Healthcare for Channel Islands Residents

Do you and your family live in the Bailiwick of Guernsey or Jersey? If so, you can choose to upgrade your Child Health Insurance policy to include our Channel Islands Cover.

This cover has been specifically designed for residents of the Channel Islands to offer additional benefits to supplement the treatment available to your child.

For an additional premium, we will cover the services provided by your child's Channel Islands GP, including:

• Consultations
• Routine Minor Surgery

We will reimburse you up to a maximum of £400 in your policy year for consultation charges made by your GP.

We will also reimburse you up to a maximum of £300 in your policy year for routine minor surgery charges made by your GP.

Where your child requires medical treatment which is unavailable in the Bailiwick of their residency, we'll cover return travel costs to another Bailiwick or the UK. We will reimburse eligible expenses incurred for the return journey with a maximum of up to £300 per return trip.

Along with this, the cover will provide a benefit for travel and accommodation costs for parents or a qualified nurse accompanying a child for treatment to another Bailiwick or the UK.
