Three quick tips towards a healthier lifestyle

TIP 1:
Keep a well-stocked fruit bowl in a prominent place in your home, preferably in the same area of your treat cupboard or biscuit tin, the brighter the selection, the better. With the help of some willpower, you’ll hopefully grab the grapes instead of the biscuits.
TIP 2:
Many people maintain that there are health benefits to be gained from drinking naturally low-calorie hot water with lemon, in place of tea or coffee. It’s said to aid digestion, provide a vitamin C boost, help to flush out toxins and also help with weight loss. Try adding a slice or two of fresh ginger for a flavour kick. Ginger is also purported to be beneficial to health, including reducing inflammation and migraine prevention.
TIP 3:
Make sure you are drinking enough water! It sounds obvious, but many people find it difficult to stay properly hydrated, particularly during cold weather, and you may even be misinterpreting thirst signals for hunger, which can lead to weight gain.
Make sure you have a glass of water to accompany every meal and sip little and often throughout the day to keep dehydration at bay. Requirements can vary from person to person and can also be dependent on activity levels and climate, but dehydration can lead to poor concentration, headaches, dry skin and eyes, constipation and many other problems. A good indication of adequate hydration is clear urine, so check before you flush!
