The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is here! Whether you’re hosting or attending an event today (or any date that suits you) we urge you to help raise awareness about cancer and how we can help people living with the disease.

Worldwide, cancer is the second-leading cause of death with 9.6 million people dying every year. However, around 3.7 million lives could be saved each year through early detection, prevention and treatment, and that’s exactly what Macmillan Cancer Support want to achieve.

What is the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning?

World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event, raising a massive £26,914,382 in 2018. Every penny raised helps people living with cancer which is why it’s important to get involved.
The first-ever Coffee Morning happened in 1990 and was a small event. Every year it gets bigger and bigger and Coffee Morning has raised over £200 million for Macmillan Cancer Support.

How can you take part?

We’re hosting our very own Coffee Morning event at General & Medical and you can too! Just head over to the Macmillan Cancer Support website and sign up to receive your very own Coffee Morning fundraising kit. The coffee kit will include bunting, cake decorations, stickers, a collection box and loads more goodies, so you can plan your event whenever you want!
