Refreshing alcohol-free cocktails you need to try this summer

Sometimes all you want is a refreshing fruity drink to sip and enjoy in the summer months without consuming alcohol. Try these tasty alcohol-free cocktails and serve up at your next BBQ so everyone can get into the summer vibe!

Virgin Tequila Sunrise

You will need:

• Tall glass
• Ice
• Cocktail cherry
• 120ml orange juice
• 240ml lemonade
• 2 tbsp grenadine
• Lemon or orange slices to serve

Method:

1. Fill your glass with ice, followed by orange juice about a third of the way up with orange juice.

2. Top up with lemonade leaving a space at the top for grenadine.

3. Carefully pour the grenadine into your glass, it should sink to the bottom and form a pretty red layer.

4. Garnish with slices of orange or lemon and top with a cocktail cherry.

Margarita Mocktail

You will need:

• Margarita glass
• Ice
• 45ml lime juice
• 15ml lemon juice
• 30ml agave syrup
• Slice of lime to serve
• Splash of ginger ale

Method:

Shake up the lime juice, lemon juice and agave syrup with ice and pour into your glass, top up with ginger ale and garnish with a lime wedge.

Alcohol-free Long Island Iced Tea

You will need:

• Cooler cocktail glass
• Ice
• Assam teabag
• 100ml boiled water
• 1tsp sugar
• 100ml ginger ale
• Slice of lime to serve

Method:

1. Infuse teabag in the boiled water for about 5 minutes then remove and refrigerate to cool.

2. Stir cooled tea with sugar, ginger ale and a squeeze of lime.

3. Pour over a glass filled with ice and garnish with a slice of lime.
