We support ‘Inclusive Behaviours in Insurance’ pledge!

The General & Medical Group have signed up to the Inclusivity Pledge, joining an array of industry bodies and brokers to address and stand up to discrimination in the insurance sector.

We recognise the importance of this industry-wide campaign which has attracted a mass of support and is designed to change unevolved behaviours, creating a more inclusive working environment and addressing all forms of potential discrimination.

The pledge sets out a clear framework of desired behaviours for both leaders and their employees. In addition it looks at clear policies and procedures for reporting any inappropriate or discriminatory behaviour too.

Other founding signatories include trade bodies the British Insurance Brokers’ Association, the Association of British Insurers and the Lloyds’s Market Association.
