We have been innovative in the way we incorporate into our Private Health Insurance schemes a range of complementary covers and services, such as Life, Personal Accident, Critical Illness and Travel covers together with Medical Helplines to name but a few.
For our high-level corporate schemes, we have introduced Dental and Optical cover, together with extra cover for Private GP services and Maternity.
After you have introduced your clients to General and Medical we will deal with all ongoing administration.
At General and Medical, we acknowledge our obligation to our clients to offer them the highest standards of customer service. Consequently, we do not use call centres, nor do we have systems where clients have to talk to separate departments for different enquiries. All clients taking out cover with General and Medical are assigned to a named Client Relations Co-ordinator (C.R.C.).
The Clients nominated C.R.C. will deal with all enquiries, from basic information to complex claims handling. The relationship that develops between our C.R.C. and your client, enables us to offer the exceptional standard of service for which we have become renowned.
One of the most important functions our C.R.C.’s perform is to deal with our clients' medical claims. These claims can range from treatments for minor ailments to major complex surgery. In order that our C.R.C.’s have an understanding of what the client is going through all our C.R.C.’s, have to undergo and achieve a high standard in a range of medical training courses. They also receive thorough training on General and Medical products and services, so they are able to offer support at the time the client needs it most.
