General & Medical understand that at this time of crisis you still might require access to your consultant, to enable this to happen we are continuing to allow remote consultations to take place providing your consultant believes it is clinically appropriate. This can happen either as a telephone call or as a video call. You will need to provide your consent to the consultant for either of these to happen.
You may need to see your consultant at a later date in order to complete the consultation and your consultant will advise you of when this may be possible.
You still need to make sure you have the authorisation to undertake your consultation so call one of our friendly team who is still on hand to support and advise you.
We are continuing to allow consultants to undertake remote consultations to help support our members and you, all we ask is that you agree to undertake our following principles:
